EVEN AS WE CONTINUE TO CELEBRATE OUR 2022 WINNERS, THE SEARCH FOR THE NEXT COHORT OF INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO REPAIR AND REGENERATE OUR PLANET IS NOW UNDERWAY FOR ITS THIRD YEAR.
Once again, our global Nominator network consisting of over 350 non-profit, foundation, investment, corporate, academic, governmental and community-led organisations, are leading the search using their own extensive knowledge and networks to find the most impactful, inclusive and inspiring solutions to our five Earthshots.
This year, Nominators have until the end of January 2023 to submit their proposals, which are then assessed against our 2023 Selection Priorities, including their potential for global impact, readiness to scale and diversity of leadership.
The solutions that are likely to have the greatest impact and are most aligned to our selection priorities will then move through to a selection phase later in the year.

The nominations submitted by our Official Nominators will undergo a detailed assessment across multiple stages with the support of our implementation partner Deloitte, a distinguished panel of experts, and other supporting partners, to find the top solutions that meet our selection priorities. The Earthshot Prize team will then select 15 solutions as Finalists – three for each Earthshot.
Five winners will be selected by The Earthshot Prize Council and announced at our next Awards Ceremony, where they willreceive a one-of-a-kind award and a £1m grant to scale the impact of their winning solution.
Both the Winners and Finalists will join our year-long Fellowship Programme where they are given an incredible platform to amplify their work, as well as tailored support from The Earthshot Prize and our network of NGOs, businesses, governments, funders and mentors.
